As mentioned on our first podcast episode, the #PharmGradWishlist team is excited to
launch a series of podcasts featuring our newly-minted PharmD graduates who have been sponsored by the PGWL movement.
On June 24, 2021, Leadership Team member Dr. Caroline Ko had the chance to conduct our first interview with Dr. Henry Agyeman via Zoom. Dr. Agyeman is a recent graduate of the James L. Winkle School of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati and is beginning his PGY1 Pharmacy Residency with Virginia Commonwealth University and Publix. Thanks to many generous supporters, the #PharmGradWishlist initiative was able to provide Dr. Agyeman with funding towards his licensing fees and moving costs for his across-state move from Ohio to Virginia.
In this episode, you'll hear Dr. Agyeman's inspiration for becoming a pharmacist as well as his passion for the future of the profession of pharmacy. For all current & prospective student pharmacists, he also shares some words of advice, including how to avoid the common issue of procrastination. We are so lucky to have met Dr. Agyeman through the #PharmGradWishlist initiative and know that he will go on to accomplish great things as a pharmacist serving his community
