“I wanted to reach out and thank you all for the amazing work you’re doing with the PharmGradWishList! You have taken the time out of your busy schedules to do this wonderful act of kindness for your future colleagues, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed! As a graduating student, I am awe-inspired by the amount of care and effort you have put into this initiative. Thank you for all your hard work—you are changing lives!”

“Firstly, I want to express my immense gratitude and admiration for your mutual aid movement to support BIPOC and first-generation college students such as myself. I cannot fully explain how moved I was to learn about this endeavor as well as be a recipient.”

Graduation Ceremony

“My goals after graduation are to care for the underserved population and bridge health disparities through direct patient care as a community pharmacist in my home state. Going forward, I hope to become a mentor to other first-generation Asian-Americans with goals of becoming a pharmacist as I know how difficult it can be when it comes to preparing and applying for a competitive program with little guidance. With graduation just around the corner, I am extremely grateful to PharmGradWishlist and the entire Pharmily for helping me transition from a student pharmacist to a pharmacist!”

“I can not thank you enough for the generous support you are doing for me. I am so pleased by the packages I am receiving from you per my ‘wish list’. The items you are sending me will have a huge impact on smoothening my learning process. As a parent, first-generation Black student, your support plays a big role in my academic journey. So, I am heartfully thankful for your generosity.”

“So I say this to all of you: thank you. Thank you for your thoughts, and for reading my story. Thank you for your generosity and your support. Thank you for being a blessing in my life and
the lives of many other students you will touch. I am immensely humbled by this movement and by the support of a vast community I cannot wait to call my colleagues. I am counting my
blessings, and I look forward to the day where I can pay it forward and be a blessing for others.”
