The Host:
Kathy E. Monangai, PharmD, RPh
Kathy Monangai is the vibrant and inquisitive voice behind the "Brighter Horizons" podcast that delves into topics that pharmacy trainees and primarily those of minoritized backgrounds may face throughout their journey in the profession. A University of Pittsburgh pharmacy alumna with a non-traditional pharmacy path including clinical residency training, global health fellowship training, and currently in health equity and philanthropy work, Kathy brings a unique blend of new practitioner insight and narrative flair.
When she's not behind the microphone, Kathy can be found traveling, reading on her Kindle, or fighting to maintain her loyalty to the New York Jets. Join Kathy every few months as she takes you along with her on several journeys of individuals at varying stages in the pharmacy profession, one story at a time.
