This Thanksgiving, we would like to thank and welcome two very special individuals, Judah and Kathy!
Judah Brown currently serves as the residency program director for the PGY2 Emergency Medicine program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Judah is one of the founding pharmacists of PharmGradWishlist. He was the driving force in starting our podcast, Brighter Horizons! Judah's dedication and motivation to spread the mission and vision of PGWL is what we are sincerely thankful for!
Kathy E. Monangai currently serves as a Corporate Philanthropy Associate at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS). In her role, she trains and works alongside the three teams of the Corporate Philanthropy functional area including BMS Foundation, Corporate Giving, and Patient Assistance Foundation. Through her role, she works with her team to secure funding, drug donation, and resources to increase health equity, patient access, and healthcare capacity. A pharmacist by education and training, Kathy is passionate about education, global public health collaboration, and improving services to the underserved on a global scale. Kathy completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Practice Residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and Global Health Pharmacy Fellowship with Texas Children’s Global HOPE (Hematology/Oncology Pediatric Excellence) – a grantee of the BMS Foundation Global Cancer Disparities-Africa program. In her free time, Kathy enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading thriller and romance novels, and traveling with hopes of going on more trips abroad (and finishing her USA travel wish list first). Kathy joined us this year and we love to hear her insights and ideas on expanding the reach of PGWL! Kathy will be taking over the Brighter Horizons podcast moving forward!
