The Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) became the first organization to officially partner with and endorse PharmGradWishlist on January 27, 2022 via an unanimous vote from the Board of Directors. This partnership enables HOPA to work with PharmGradWishlist to increase opportunities for racially and ethnically minoritized trainees and practicing pharmacists, including mentorship, scholarship, and amplification.
The PharmGradWishlist team would like to thank HOPA and the new HOPA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force for their thoughtful review of this partnership and endorsement request. Because of the feedback from the DEI Task Force, our team updated the language in our mission to provide more clarity in the pharmacist trainee populations we support.
The overwhelming support from HOPA comes after four Oncology Pharmacists individually funded PharmGradWishlist residency/fellowship scholarships (https://www.pharmgradwishlist.org/post/pharmacists-generously-sponsor-full-residency-scholarships).
