Licensure Support for Dr. Kelly St. Rose

PharmGradWishlist is excited to continue the 2022 graduating class's Large Item Lottery!

Racially and ethnically minoritized pharmacy graduates from across the country submit large-item requests to PGWL along with their wish lists. PGWL leadership randomly selects an individual for a coordinated fundraiser to support getting them their large item. If you are a graduating URM student, do not hesitate to submit your information at www.Pharmgradwishlist.org/sponsee-signup

Now for our next Large Item Lottery fundraiser, Dr. Kelly St. Rose!

Dr. St. Rose (@girlkelz on Twitter) graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy from Texas A&M on May 21! She will be pursuing a PGY1/2 in Informatics at HCA in Nashville, Tennessee and plans to pursue pharmacy informatics in the future. Dr. St. Rose is keeping her options open to industry, academia, and clinical informatics. She solidified her interest in informatics after an internship at Houston Methodist the summer after her P1 year. Over the last two years, she has been involved in a research project involving implementing hospital record changes to ensure continuity of care upon hospital discharge and has just submitted her manuscript for publication.

Dr. St. Rose is originally from Dominica, a small island in the Caribbean, and now living in Houston, TX, where most of her family resides. Her husband and 2-year-old son will be joining her on the journey to Nashville, Tennessee and they are looking forward to the new landscape and enjoying time outdoors. The move will require establishing childcare as they both transition into their new roles.

We are raising funds to cover the cost of licensing fees, as Dr. St. Rose is pursuing licensure in both Texas and Tennessee.
