Collaboration Alert!! Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS) National Executive Committee (NEC) Leader Academy

PGWL is excited to announce a new collaboration with Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS)! Through this collaboration, PGWL and PLS are offering TWO free spots in the PLS National Executive Leader Academy!

What is the PLS National Executive Committee (NEC) Leader Academy?

In a small cohort of pharmacy student leaders and pharmacists led by a trained facilitator from the PLS NEC, you will have the opportunity to learn and apply leadership development tools from the GiANT Worldwide 5 Voices program. You will gain an understanding of your own leadership style and learn to “know yourself to lead yourself” through a series of visual tools that help guide you through common leadership challenges. The skills you will learn are translatable to any setting and offer the chance to practice your leadership style, while learning about the styles and tendencies of others on your team.

What is the time commitment?

The program requires minimal time commitment, meeting via Zoom for 1 hour every other week from September 2022 to April 2023. This schedule gives you a chance to learn and practice these tools, building upon the skills you’ve gained in the program as you gain practical experience leading others.

Application Requirements:

  1. Recent PharmD graduate (within the past 5 years)

  2. PLS Member

  3. Identify as racially or ethnically minoritized
